On Wednesday April 13th we got our first glimpses of our little one, what a surreal experience it was! I expected just a little alien-ish blob, but when we saw this we were both AMAZED.
Here it is showing off it's tiny foot!
Right after this it starting wiggling and kicking and turning around and acting crazy!
Then we saw this one, an almost complete look at what we saw wiggling! 2 arms and 2 legs! And it is hard to tell in the scanned pictures but you can see each vertebrae in it's little spine forming.
Here I guess the little swimmer got camera shy and gave us a tiny butt shot.
And this is the last, I guess it flipped over the other way, this was when the ultrasound tech was checking for other brothers or sisters. To my joy and to Dom's (very very slight) disappointment, there was only one.
All tucked away cooking before very busy and very traumatic coming weeks. Enjoy my belly while you can, little swimmer!
