Viva Vegas

We work nights and weekends. (you probably already know that)
Which has wonderful benefits. Like NEVER (well almost never) having to wake up to an alarm.
It is beautiful, although sometimes you realize you have slept the day away and it often eliminates the joy of coffee.
But now that it is cold, the joy of coffee is back in my life.

Okay there are lots of other benefits too but sometimes the negatives, like working nights and weekends, hang around our necks and we long for freedom and fresh air. So we retreated to the least fresh place I can think of in the good old US of A, Las Vegas. But it was freedom and fun and we loved it!

So Dom drove the nine hour drive...through mostly the scenic and wonderful...
And we got to our hotel that was so out of our league that we didn't know what to do...literally, I know don't judge us.
And when they asked us if we would like to upgrade our view we naturally declined and expected views of a parking structure, but instead found this.

I am not one to take pictures of hotel rooms. In fact I think it is creepy, but this one was smashing!

and the view was so wonderful!
Stay tuned for more on our trip!

  1. 1. Excellent new background. You're create non-stop.

    2. That hotel is so intimidating! Kudos on your choice though because it looks awesome.

  2. Um yeah the hotel...was phenomonal...no way we would have gone if we didn't get it for free-ish (we had to use 175 towards tickets and stuff...so we did phantom, wax museum, and gondola ride)
We pulled up to the front and it was only valet and we had no idea what we were doing. But the valet guy was really nice to us :)
